Privacy policy
Everything you log stays on your iPhone until you sign in. Forma has no ads and no tracking, and we never sell data.
Forma ("Forma — Workout & Food") is made by brikks studio, an independent developer. This page explains what data Forma handles, why, and how to delete it.
Without an account
Workouts, programs, goals, the food diary, your own foods, weigh-ins, "About you" (sex, age, height, weight, activity, goal) and settings are stored only on your iPhone. Exercises, recipes and the food table are built into the app, so without an account Forma does not contact our server.
With an account
An account is optional: sign in with Apple or Google. It keeps your data in the cloud and moves it between devices. If you sign in, our server stores:
- the email address and name passed on by Apple or Google (Apple lets you hide your real address and pass a relay address instead);
- everything you log in the app: programs, workouts with sets and weights, goals, weigh-ins, the food diary, your own foods, day templates and favorites;
- settings, including "About you", from which the calorie target is calculated;
- technical records of requests to the server (IP address, time, request path) for a few days, for security.
Weight, food and body data are personal health information. We keep them only to show them to you on your devices and share them with no one.
What others see
Nothing. Forma has no public profiles or shared feeds: only you see your data.
Why we use data
Only to make Forma work: sign-in and sync between devices. We do not use data for advertising, build profiles from it, combine it with data from other sources or pass it to data brokers.
Services Forma relies on
- Our server, a virtual server rented by brikks studio, stores account data.
- Sign in with Apple and Google, only if you choose it. Their privacy policies apply to what you share with them.
- Expo (EAS Update) delivers app updates and receives technical data: IP address, app version, platform and a random installation identifier.
- Apple distributes the app and, if you allowed it in your iPhone settings, sends us crash reports and anonymous statistics.
The food table is based on the open USDA FoodData Central database and built into the app: no requests are sent there.
Retention and deletion
Account data is kept until you delete the account. To delete it, open Profile (the "···" button) → Delete account in the app: the account and all its data are removed from our server and your iPhone at once. If you cannot open the app, email us from the account's address and we will delete it.
Signing out removes the data from your iPhone, but it stays in the account. Deleting the app erases everything stored on the iPhone.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, correct it or delete it: write to support@brikks.pro.
Security
The connection to the server is encrypted with HTTPS, and each account's data is visible only to that account.
Children
Forma is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has created an account, write to us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
